WWD Beauty CEO Summit 2021

This two-day conference explored in depth the new dynamics of these uncertain times, looking at how brands and retailers are adapting and innovating to continually drive relevance. The conference marked a return to live events for WWD after a 2 year hiatus due to the pandemic and launched with full force at Cipriani South Street in New York City.

2021 Beauty CEO Summit was a huge success, with notable sponsors like Meta, Twitter and Klarna and speakers including Alicia Keys, Johnathan Van Ness, R. Alexandra Keith (CEO of P&G Beauty), Dave Kimbell (CEO of Ulta Beauty).

 

Branding

From the continued impact of COVID-19 to the sociocultural shifts, the last 18 months have been a time of extreme metamorphosis.

The theme of this event was “A World Changed, A Business Transforming” denoting to the social-cultural shifts during the pandemic. The butterfly was used as a main motif to time of extreme metamorphosis in the beauty world.

This was the first time I worked on activating a LIVE event of this size and scale. Lots of learnings came along with it.
