RERIÉRE: BRANDING SYSTEM

I developed a branding concept and design system for Riziére, a speculative alcohol company that produces makgeoli (Korean rice wine). The brand aims to make the novel Korean beverage more approachable to a young, urban and sophisticated audience in the U.S.

Logo

The delicate and elegant logo of Riziére is a modern reinterpretation of French Deco style. The logo is inspired by traditional dancheong and Taeguk prints of the Korean flag. The grain embellishments represents the main ingredient of the milky, off-white beverage.

The brand standards manual, demonstrating Riziére's clean and sophisticated  personality, provides guidelines for the brand identity, visual elements, and representations.

Corporate Annual Report

 

The 2017 annual report of the brand is based on the idea of a gradual but assuring financial growth. The motif of "gradient" is colorfully incorporated throughout the whole report to represent the brand's performance over 2017 fiscal year. This report sticks closely to the brand standard manual's color palette and visual identity guidelines.
